Together with Rico, the Austrian liquid silicone rubber mold maker, Wacker makes a sunglasses PBT case with soft protective LSR membranes and an LSR hinge. All this is done with an Engel 2K system.

Well, to make tubes for lotions, creams and cosmetics, you may not need an extruder. Engel decided to show us that you can injection mold the tube in an e-motion 280 machine and overmold the cap in a single process. The process begins when a robot places a label inside a cavity and overmolding the tube, followed by the cap.
